When Tara Fillare called the St Johns County Animal Control to report that a Bozard Ford employee had discovered an amazing cat hiding in the engine compartment of a vehicle that had been turned in at their dealership. She never thought her feeling of excitement — would turn to tragedy, in less than 24-hours.
Yesterday, Historic City News learned that St Johns County veterans were receiving letters from the VA Medical Center in Gainesville; providing at least some, although limited, information on the future of the outpatient clinic in St. Augustine.

When the 450th Youth Ambassadors met for their regular monthly event in March, they weren’t too sure what to expect. But, when they left to go home, they had a whole new appreciation of the art scene in St. Augustine and the skills and passion of local Art Gallery Director Ryan Sheckels.
On Friday March 6th, the Men of Menendez reported to Historic City News that they will hold a warning march, to alert the populace of the impending attack by Searle’s Buccaneers.
