Historic City News was notified that the St. Johns County Engineering Department will be making roadway and drainage improvements in the area surrounding the intersection of Wilson and Holtz Streets.

Body discovered near State Road 16

The St. Johns County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the cause of death in this morning’s discovery of a white male found lying face down in a retention pond on the south side of State Road 16.

St. Augustine: A parade is held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Vilano Beach. First Friday Art Walk from 5-9 p.m. in downtown St. Augustine. A fireworks exhibit is held at 9:30 p.m. over the Castillo de San Marcos in downtown St. Augustine.

In an interview this afternoon for Historic City News, Scott Featherstone, Owner of G’pops Kitchen, gave us the grand tour so that we could bring our readers up to date on all the improvements since opening their new restaurant in the former Topaz location which closed earlier this year.
