October 6-12 Fire Prevention Week
St Augustine Fire Marshal, Bob Growick, announced to Historic City News that this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme is “Prevent Kitchen Fires”. The 91-year-old Fire Prevention Week tradition is a way to alert the community to dangers that may exist in homes and business, and as a way to educate the public about preventing fires before they start.

Surf-rock group gives winning performance at Battle of the Bands
