Training clinic for kids triathlon
Executive Director Susan Connor announced to Historic City News that parents of children who want to participate in the “Just TRI It! Kids Triathlon” being held next month, should register, take the required swim test and experience a run-through of the race course this Sunday afternoon.



Communication Manager Karen Pan in the Office of the County Administrator reminds Historic City News readers that the sea turtles are on their way back to nest on the beaches of St. Johns County as the official nesting season begins this Sunday, May 1st.

Sergeant Charles E. Mulligan just reported to Historic City News that personnel are removing equipment and barriers in the area of US-1 North, between International Golf Parkway and CR-210 West and tells us, “We estimate the road will be available for traffic flow around 8:00 a.m. this morning.”
St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau Communications Director Jay Humphreys informed entertainment reporters at Historic City News that Friday kicks off this year’s edition of the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival and a weekend full of entertainment.
