Turning Point at Calvary completed its annual “Light of Christmas” display Christmas night by welcoming streaming carloads of onlookers as they took in more than a half million lights.

Historic City News has confirmed sightings of Santa and his reindeer earlier today as he flew over the St Augustine Lighthouse and Museum on a practice run.
Historic City News was informed of six members of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 58 at NAS Jacksonville who have been recognized as “Sailor of the Quarter” by The St Augustine – Palm Cost Navy League during the 4th Quarter of 2014.
Historic City News learned that the request from the City of St. Augustine for $350,000 in state funds to rehabilitate the structural system of the Waterworks building, was one of 66 grant applications considered by the members of the Florida Historic Commission when they convened last week in Tallahassee.
Offices for the City of St. Augustine will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 24, 25 and 26 and Thursday and Friday, January 1 and 2 in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
After Santa looked at his list and checked it twice, 100 Flagler County children who were found to be nice were paired with law enforcement officers for the annual “Christmas with a Deputy” program.
