Fourteen years ago, Historic City News learned that Rick Aeppli, a few of his friends and members of his family, started a Christmas tradition of serving a delicious, traditional Christmas dinner with a little joy, cheer, and friendship — and, that tradition will continue this year.
The St. Augustine Police Department informed local Historic City News reporters that the agency was awarded a grant through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation that was used to procure sixteen Automated External Defibrillators.
As part of a “Homeport 450th Dockage Agreement” the historical replica of a Spanish tall ship, El Galeon Andalucia, sailed into Matanzas Bay this morning.
The North Florida Transportation Planning Organization reported to Historic City News that their board has re-elected St. Augustine Commissioner Nancy Sikes-Kline for a second, one-year term through December 2015.
