Historic City News has learned that some property owners and residents in uptown St Augustine’s Abbott Tract are troubled over a move by city officials to “yellow curb” areas they say are needed for on-street parking in their neighborhood.
The Seaside Wildlife Garden received an official welcome to St Augustine Beach yesterday when master gardeners from the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences dedicated the volunteer community project, located at the Beach Cultural Center.
St Augustine Postmaster, Kenneth M Goodleaf, informed local Historic City News reporters that Monday marks the busiest mailing day of the year for the Postal Service, with more than 640 million cards, letters, and packages, expected to be processed.
Chris Stone and Kim McNickle accepted a one thousand dollar donation for the St Johns County School District “Aid and Support for Students in Sudden Transition” program; according to a report received by Historic City News last week.
