St Augustine: 99-year history of ignoring paid consultants
Consultants, studies, workshops, steering committees, surveys and visioning are such overused buzzwords in the City Manager’s vocabulary in St Augustine that the taxpayers have come to expect them as the solution to just about any problem that presents itself — and its been that way for many, many years.



The City Commission of the City of St. Augustine is accepting applications to fill two alternate positions on the Historic Architectural Review Board.
Historic City News has been informed that the St. Augustine City Commission will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 22nd to consider several items relating to early planning for the 2016-2017 budget.


Sunshine Week occurs each year in mid-March, coinciding with James Madison’s birthday and National Freedom of Information Day on the 16th.
