Hart enters no-contest plea sentencing date set
Public Information Officer Klare Ly announced to Historic City News that Randal Bryan Hart, the 28-year-old St Johns County man accused of stabbing his dog, Amber, and slashing her throat with a knife before dragging her into the woods to die, pled “no contest” today in open court.



Historic City News in St Augustine has learned that a 30-year old Alachua County woman, Amy Lynn Kuitert, was arrested Saturday night, charged with child neglect, and released from the St Johns County Detention Facility the next morning — after posting $250 cash bond.
Just before 1:00 a.m. this morning, Police Chief Robert A Hardwick informed local Historic City News reporters that officers were able to capture three men wanted in connection with several burglaries that occurred last night in the area of Lee Drive and Clipper Court in St Augustine Beach.
St Augustine Chief of Police, Loran K Lueders, tells Historic City News that he is ready to implement the first step in an enhanced security plan approved by city commissioners concerned that the existing safety measures do not provide adequate protection for them during public meetings.


Charges are pending this morning in a crash that sent a New Smyrna Beach woman to the hospital with serious injuries and killed a horse she had in tow, after an armored truck lost control and crossed the center line into her path on a two-lane section of SR-100 in Flagler County yesterday.
