Historic City News is awaiting the results of the autopsy by District Medical Examiner, Dr. Terrence Steiner in order to report a positive identification and cause of death of the victim of an apparent drowning over the weekend.

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that at this hour the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, along with County Marine Rescue personnel, are searching the ocean near the Matanzas Inlet for a missing swimmer.

Historic City News has learned that three male suspects have been identified and are in custody in connection with the beating of another man a month ago.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Robbery Section are seeking a suspect in connection with an armed robbery of C.V.S. Pharmacy at 1920 A1A South early last Tuesday morning.
