A Lincolnville resident and business owner contacted Historic City News when they discovered that a park for recreational vehicles was under consideration on partially back-filled land near 216 Riberia Street.

Although this year she won’t follow her husband whose photograph appears on the wall of the St Augustine Beach City Hall along with the City’s other mayors, Undine Pawlowski George was appointed to the next highest seat on the 2016 City Commission.

Among other agenda items this evening, the City of St Augustine Beach commission will select the commissioner to serve as mayor and vice-mayor for the coming year, and Undine Pawlowski George is telling her constituents she would be honored to serve.

For some time, the City of St Augustine has relied on a former city attorney opinion that it was not necessary for appointed members of one of the community’s two most powerful citizen boards to file the appropriate financial disclosure of financial interests required of a “local officer”. …
