Floridians press for final approval of Keystone XL





About 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, Florida Governor Rick Scott will visit the Northrop Grumman plant at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport, according to the Historic City News sources in the Executive Office.
Thursday night, April 10th, during a somewhat contentious meeting of the Republican Party in St Johns County, Chairman Sean Mulhall held a discussion on a motion to adopt a resolution of the Executive Committee supporting lower taxation and economic freedom.

Historic City News learned that the bill allowing gun owners to pack their weapons when fleeing a hurricane or other emergency is moving swiftly in the Florida Legislature. Yesterday, Florida Current reporter Bill Cotterell caught Representative Heather Dawes Fitzenhagen as she explained her bill that would permit citizens to carry their guns with them during state-ordered emergency evacuations.
An order received by Historic City News, dated April 8th, confirmed that two St Johns County deputy sheriffs, Sergeant Brian Canova and Detective Thomas Marmo, failed to convince the US Court of Appeals, to overturn the judgment of the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida in a lawsuit brought against them by a St Johns County attorney and her client.
