Letter: Think about the residents too

Dear Editor:
Our city commissioners, tourist board and administrators seem to be focused on how to bring ever more tourist dollars to downtown businesses at the expense of the city residents.

The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument reported to Historic City News that they will host special evening tours on Friday, January 30th providing a special look into the Siege of 1740.
The Week Ahead for January 12
The St Augustine Beach Civic Association has invited Historic City News editor Michael Gold to moderate a live forum Tuesday evening that will introduce the Republican candidates for Florida House of Representatives District 17.
At approximately 5:00 p.m. yesterday evening, St John County Fire-Rescue Lieutenant Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News that emergency personnel were responding to a call for help from a vessel in distress near the St Augustine inlet.
