Art Association names and exhibits award-winning artists
Historic City News has learned that David Olson is now a two-time winner of the “Jean Wagner Troemel Best in Show” prize for his mixed media sculpture, “Spine”. Olson is a fine art teacher at St Augustine High School.



Historic City News readers with questions or comments concerning the development of a historic preservation master plan will have an opportunity next week to attend a public forum with the consultants hired by the City of St Augustine.
The St Johns County Parks and Recreation Department is in the process of updating its Master Plan to guide the future of parks, nature preserves, beach areas, athletic facilities, and recreation programs and services within the County.

This spring, two graduating seniors in the St. Johns County Center for the Arts drama department at St. Augustine High School were accepted to the Florida State University Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting program; an elite undergraduate program with a notoriously competitive acceptance rate, according to an announcement received by Historic City News from Laura Smith today.
