West Augustine CRA hosts grand opening of new Family Dollar
Bryn R. Winburn, Public Relations Manager for Matthews, North Carolina based retailer Family Dollar, reported to Historic City News that a special ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 21st, at the company’s newest store located at 840 West King Street in St Augustine.





At about 2:10 a.m. this morning, Flagler deputies responded to a shooting call in Palm Coast. Historic City News has learned that one of the two robbers engaged in the home invasion was shot by the resident and killed at the scene; while a second has thus far escaped capture.

For about two-hours today, the AT&T network in the southeast United States was completely shut down; affecting customers in St Augustine and St Johns County until about 2:10 p.m., according to information provided to Historic City News this afternoon.
