Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

As we chug down the road to November and the General Election in St Augustine, we find some contests that will be decided early and some that will be decided late, while some will be decided in August even though not legally decided until a runoff between the top two contestants.
At about 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Historic City News was informed that an armed gunman entered the lobby of the Holiday Inn on North Ponce de Leon Boulevard and robbed the desk clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash.

Bill McClure, candidate for the Florida 4th Congressional District and a sitting St. Johns County Commissioner, announced his opposition to the proposed sales tax increase, scheduled for referendum on August 30th.
