Shoar sets boundaries for relationship at Beach
Historic City News has obtained a copy of a letter from Sheriff David Shoar to St Augustine Beach Mayor Gary Snodgrass clarifying the somewhat awkward relationship between the two as the city commission still labors to decide the fate of their beleaguered police department.



Anthea Manny reported to Historic City News that the Committee for the Night Watch and the St Johns County Tourist Development Council will present the 38th Annual British Night Watch and Grande Illumination Celebration on Friday November 30th and Saturday December 1st.
A 19-year-old St Augustine mother is in jail today after her arrest by St Augustine Police on charges that twice this week she neglected her 1-year-old child; having left the infant alone in her Palmer Street apartment; according to information provided to Historic City News this morning.
Jerry Kass passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the Bailey Family Center for Caring. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 14, 1914, spent his early years in New York City and after graduating from high school, moved to St Augustine in 1933.
