After much reflection, thought and prayer, I have determined to endorse Chris Strickland for our next sheriff. When I withdrew from consideration for this office, I was not certain if I would make an endorsement. However, I believe that my supporters, the people who trust and believe in me, will benefit from this recommendation.
Historic City News was notified by the Florida Department of Transportation Public Information Officer, Allen Nelson, that traffic will be impacted at the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations where roadwork is being conducted.
On August 26, 2011, Historic City News reported that, following the execution of several search warrants and review of DNA test results, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Sean A. Bush in connection with the nearly three-month-old murder of his 35-year-old wife, Nicole Elise Bush. Yesterday, the Florida Supreme Court upheld the conviction and death sentence.
In a prepared statement issued Tuesday by the city manager in the aftermath of Monday evening’s city commission meeting, Regan said, in considering whether the city will put on the local 2020 Independence Day fireworks, he must think about the impact of, “… crossing beyond a date that results in unnecessary expenditures.”
Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St Augustine reported to Historic City News at about 3:27 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, that a 62-year-old local pilot got into trouble while trying to land his aircraft after the landing gear apparently suffered a malfunction.

We paid for them, they are ours, and we support the beach lifestyle — because it is our lifestyle.
