Regional Training Institute renamed in honor of Maj Gen Douglas Burnett

During a ceremony Wednesday afternoon, the Florida National Guard’s 211th Regional Training Institute campus will be renamed in honor of Major General Douglas Burnett, who served as 20th Adjutant General of Florida from November 2001 to June 2010.  Historic City News will attend.

Historic City News learned that more than $1 billion in rental income was generated in Florida last year by the vacation rental home marketing company Airbnb.  An announcement appeared in Florida Politics today quoting a company report that 6.6 million guests stayed in host properties in 2019.
