FDOT road repairs and maintenance report
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.





St Augustine Lifesaving Association President, Jeremy Watkins, has asked Historic City News readers to participate in an upcoming yard sale event to benefit 21-year-old Johnny McClure; a member of the US Lifeguard Association, St Augustine Lifesaving Association, Marine Rescue Team, and participant on the St Johns County Lifeguard Competition team.
About ten minutes ago, Florida Highway Patrol Sergeant Dylan Bryan advised local Historic City News reporters that traffic in all lanes of US-1, north and south, have reopened after having been closed for more than 3 hours this morning while officers investigated a fatal vehicle-vs-pedestrian crash.
Historic City News readers will have an opportunity to comment on the agreements for visitor information services between St Johns County and the two officially designated contractors; both are scheduled to expire on September 30, 2013.
When Chairman Bill Hughes convenes the meeting of the St Johns County Tourist Development Council Monday afternoon, the members will face a host of financial action items; which, if passed, will advance to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
St Johns County firefighters have announced to local Historic City News reporters that they will participate in the “Fill the Boot” fundraising event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
