St Augustine Tea Party re-elects officers
At this week’s regular meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party, Secretary Esther Miller conducted the annual election in accordance with the bylaws of the group; which calls for officers to be elected on the second Tuesday of July.






St Augustine Youth Services, an organization that for well over twenty years has been providing services to boys, from the age of six to eighteen, who are in need of residential therapeutic services due to abuse or neglect, was the beneficiary at the first annual July 4th Watermelon Run.

Historic City News has learned that St Johns County Tourist Development Council executive director Glenn Hastings has been named the new Chairman of the Board for “Visit Florida” — the state’s official tourism marketing organization.
Christina Langston, Director of Community Relations for the St Johns County School District in St Augustine reported to Historic City News that school grades released yesterday show that the District has maintained its ranking as one of the top performing districts in the state.
