FDOT road repairs and maintenance report
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Expansion of resident parking plan tabled
St Augustine City Commissioners decided Monday night to table a proposal that would have affected three parking spaces along Water Street that are part of a controversial “Resident Parking” program managed by the City.
Emergency beacon recovered by local Civil Air Patrol
Lieutenant Dennis Maloney in St Augustine told Historic City News reporters that the local Civil Air Patrol squadron was called out recently to assist in locating a rogue distress radio beacon; said to be signaling from somewhere near SR-16 and Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
Archaeology month at Cathedral Parish School
Raphael Cosme reported to Historic City News that on Friday, March 23rd, the Cathedral Parish School held a Florida Archaeology Month Celebration that included a presentation by distinguished researcher Dr. Kathleen Deagan.
