In a December 16, 2011 article titled, “St Augustine fundraising choices questioned”, Historic City News reported on the pending expiration of an outside contract between the City of St Augustine and political campaign fundraiser and lobbying firm, The Fiorentino Group.
On Friday January 20th, Lincolnville’s Willie Galimore Recreation Center located at 399 South Riberia Street in St Augustine will be the site of a public ceremony honoring the 29th year that the City has received the designation of “Tree City USA” from the National Arbor Day Foundation.
The City of St Augustine wants to notify Historic City News readers to expect San Marco Avenue to be closed to all vehicular traffic during the 2012 March for Life procession that begins at approximately 12 noon on Saturday, January 14.

Dwaine Stevens announced to local Historic City News reporters in St Augustine that next Saturday, January 14th, at 8:00 a.m., approximately 110 Publix associates will go to work when the door to their new Vilano Beach Town Center supermarket opens to shoppers.
