FDOT road repairs and maintenance report
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Before 10:00 p.m. last night, law enforcement investigators were able to make an arrest in the Moultrie Road hit-and-run collision that occurred at 5:40 a.m. in St Augustine and left its victim clinging to life; and, this morning, Sheriff David B Shoar is crediting the immediate media response for prompting a good citizen to make an anonymous tip.
Historic City News was informed that St Johns County firefighters had a residential structure fire under control in approximately 45 minutes yesterday evening; however, salvage and overhaul operations at the Palencia home continued throughout the night and into this morning.

An early-morning collision in St Augustine sent the victim of a hit-and-run to Flagler Hospital with what are described as “life threatening” injuries, according to information received by Historic City News from sheriff’s spokesman Sargent Charles E. Mulligan.
