The Ocala Star-Banner reported that officials with the U.S. Postal Service have proposed a cost-cutting plan that would eliminate hundreds of positions at the Gainesville mail processing facility, which currently handles mail for Marion, Alachua and several surrounding counties.

Alison Ratkovic, Clerk of the City of St Augustine, announced to Historic City News and our readers that there are currently three open positions on the city’s advisory boards and committees.
St Augustine and St Johns County residents will be seeing a new traffic signal soon; installation of the traffic control devices and the required ground markings are underway on SR-312 at this time; with an expected completion date of February.
