Commission and School Board voting districts
Supervisor of Elections, Vicky Oakes, announced to Historic City News readers that tomorrow evening, November 1, 2011 at 6:00 p.m., a Special Joint Meeting to review public input from the District 1-5 Town Hall Redistricting meetings will be held and additional revised plans will be reviewed.

Tracy Glochau informed Historic City News that she recently coordinated a fundraising event to raise money and awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.




Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies were busy yesterday, according to word received by Historic City News this morning from spokesperson Debra Johnson reporting gunfire at a Palm Coast home, and, in a separate incident, the armed robbery of a local liquor store.
St. Johns County Commission chairman Joseph “Ken” Bryan sits on high; he is perched above lowly taxpayers who dare approach the podium, in dissent and distress, at the auditorium of the County Administration Palace — where he metes out fire and brimstone the likes of which Martin Luther himself could only fancy.
Historic City News received word from the City of St. Augustine that the J&S Carousel at Davenport Park, adjacent to the Main Public Library, will be closed for maintenance from Monday, October 31 through Thursday, November 4.
