City advances harbor management system
Historic City News local reporters have learned that, thanks to being selected as one of five Florida coastal cities for a pilot program, further development of the harbor management system will be accomplished in a way that is essentially “tailor-made” to meet the specific needs of the community.






Bill Lazar, executive director of St. Johns Housing Partnership Inc., reported to Historic City News that the local non-profit housing provider has expanded their affordable rental housing program.
First Coast PT Cruisers reported to Historic City News that they held “Cruise into History IV” — a Mother’s Day Classic on May 5th, 6th and 7th at the Days Inn located at 1300 N Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.
Linda Murray reported to Historic City News that the St. Paul School of Excellence will hold a comedy night fund-raising event featuring music by the Doug Carn Quartet on Saturday June 25th.
St. Augustine Fire Chief Mike Arnold and Fire Marshall John Rayno are urging all Historic City News readers to keep July 4th safe and legal with a reminder of ordinances in force in the City regarding personal fireworks.
Betty Griffin House Community Awareness Coordinator, Kim Collins, informed local Historic City News reporters that Lion’s Den Karate will offer a womens’ self-defense class, free to the first 10 women that call and sign up.
