Energy efficiency workshops in June
St. Johns County energy efficiency coordinator Lowry Shuler announced to Historic City News the dates for this month’s free energy efficiency workshops designed to teach commercial contractors and homeowners how to build more efficiently and save money.

Anastasia State Park at St. Augustine’s south beach is an example that will no doubt be considered when Florida’s Acquisition and Restoration Council holds their 9:00 a.m. meeting and public hearing on Friday morning.
For three weeks this summer, two students will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the rising popularity of citizen journalism when Historic City News offers its second summer internships in St. Augustine.
Patti Henderson updated local Historic City News reporters that the St. Augustine Tea Party meeting regularly scheduled for tomorrow, June 7th, has been rescheduled for June 14th.
Brian Thompson reported to Historic City News that Flagler College was recently awarded a $10,000 grant by the National Trust for Historic Preservation from its Cynthia Woods Mitchell Fund for Historic Interiors.
