City begins work on overdue public projects
The City of St Augustine announced to local Historic City News reporters that, weather permitting, several streets will be closed for resurfacing starting Monday, March 16, and continuing through Friday, March 27.







A 60,750 gallon sewer spill was reported to Historic City News by the City of St Augustine at approximately 8:00 a.m. this morning. City crews arrived to find a power outage at a sanitary sewer lift station located off Masters Drive at the eastern terminus of Helen Street.

VA hospital turns investigation against whistleblower
Bill Lazar announced to local Historic City News reporters in St Augustine, that 73-year-old resident, Dave Roberson, was assisted with improvements to his Avenue D home provided by the St. Johns Housing Partnership and the Bonner Scholar group of Lindsey Wilson College.
Raphael Cosme reported to Historic City News that a priceless painting of Our Lady of La Leche, that is of great historic and religious significance, was rediscovered by him and his wife, Perla, on December 6, 2014, at the Chapel of Jesus Nazareno in Campeche, Mexico.
