Don’t be April Fool – taxes due by March 31

Dennis W. Hollingsworth, C.F.C., cautions Historic City News readers that all remaining St. Johns County 2014 property taxes are due March 31st. Taxes not paid by March 31st will be become delinquent and a three percent (3%) penalty will be applied.

Animal officer had been on job two-years before incident

When Tara Fillare called the St Johns County Animal Control to report that a Bozard Ford employee had discovered an amazing cat hiding in the engine compartment of a vehicle that had been turned in at their dealership. She never thought her feeling of excitement — would turn to tragedy, in less than 24-hours.
