Historic City News local reporters were informed today that Assistant Chief of Police Anthony W Cuthbert has been selected to attend the 275th Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He will be departing on January 5, 2019, for approximately three months.
Rabbi Merrill Shapiro, president of the St. Augustine Jewish Historical Society, invited Historic City News readers to attend the next Jewish Historical Society meeting being held Wednesday, January 23rd the Main Branch of the St. Johns County Public Library, 1960 North Ponce De Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.

Saturday evening, January 5, 2019, the historic reenactment community, through a partnership between the Historic Florida Militia, the City of Saint Augustine and the St Johns Cultural Council, will be conducting another “History on the Streets” saunter along Saint George Street and the historic area here in Saint Augustine.
More than 26 member-galleries of the Art Galleries of St Augustine have invited Historic City News readers to participate, both in Downtown St Augustine and Anastasia Island, this Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. for First Friday Art Walk.
