Historic City News was advised by St Johns County that the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Planning and Zoning Agency will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the County Auditorium at the St Johns County Administrative Palace located at 500 San Sebastian View in St Augustine.

Drugs in Roos-Leonardi contributed to fatal crash

Historic City News reported the tragic Christmas evening crash on Anastasia Island that claimed the lives of 25-year-old Trevor Austin Leonardi and his wife, 28-year-old Jennifer Ann Roos-Leonardi; and now, police have released toxicology reports that confirm the presence of drugs in their blood streams which contributed to the fatal crash.

Orange Park Medical Center no longer Level II trauma center

Historic City News was informed today that Orange Park Medical Center, which has been operating as a “provisional” Level II Trauma Center, was denied approval of Level II Trauma Center status after the Florida Department of Health determined that the hospital has not met the required standards.
