The developer of the already huge Silverleaf development in northwest St Johns County is planning a major expansion. Silverleaf has asked to add 5600 residential units and 2408 acres to the development, for a total of 16,300 new homes. The “plan” also includes more than 3,000,000 square feet of commercial space.

(more…)Yesterday, Melissa Morreale, Public Affairs Officer for Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly, reported to Historic City News that Bunnell resident, 49-year-old Ronald Wright, has been arrested after he killed a family’s bird, destroyed the inside of a residence, and was threatening to kill family members.
(more…)The City of St Augustine is continuing a project to clean up the Intracoastal Waterway of what it calls “derelict” vessels, according to an update received by Historic City News from Communications Director Melissa Wissel. Boaters are asked to use caution in the area during this time.
