It’s almost time to cruise at the “Inaugural A1A Cruise Night” and all Historic City News readers are invited by our financial institution and the event sponsor, VyStar Credit Union, to participate and be a spectator in this soon-to-be-classic local event.

A ceremony with a special tribute to Vietnam veterans will take place today at Anastasia Baptist Church, 1650 A1A South in St. Augustine. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. this morning and the program will begin at 11:00 a.m.

When St Augustine High School Yellow Jackets square off against a century-old rival, Palatka High School, a local family tradition will come to an end.  Local sportscasting icon, Barry Snyder Kass, will hang up his microphone for the last time.
