National Cemetery holds wreath-laying ceremony

Michael Isam, spokesman for the Veterans Council of St Johns County, announced to local Historic City News reporters that, for the first time since the observance began in 2007, all 1218 graves in the St. Augustine National Cemetery will receive a wreath as part of the 2012 “Wreaths Across America” ceremonies.

The Florida East Coast Railway notified Historic City News that Santa Claus took a ride on a special “Toys for Tots Christmas Train” as it traveled between Jacksonville and Miami today; including a brief stop, for the third year, in St Augustine at US-1 and San Sebastian View.
