Beach commission to hold special meeting
Historic City News has learned that the City of St Augustine Beach has called a special meeting to address a complaint filed by 10 of the 14 St Augustine Beach Police Department officers against the police chief; 57 year-old Richard L. Hedges.

Corporal Catherine Payne informed local Historic City News reporters that a Fed-Ex driver, in the parking lot of a Ponte Vedra Beach apartment complex, hit a tree and culvert in a single-vehicle crash this evening that has sent the 61 year-old man to the hospital in critical condition.
