High tide and rough sea warning for St. Augustine
St. Johns County Fire Rescue Lt. Jeremy Robshaw wants to inform local Historic City News readers that Northeast Florida beaches, including St. Johns County, will be experiencing extreme surf and high tides throughout the weekend and into next week.





Kiwanis of Historic St. Augustine announced to local Historic City News reporters that they will hold their annual Pancake Breakfast Fund Raiser on October 15th, from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at The Allegro, located at 1101 Plantation Island Drive South in St. Augustine.
Deputies responded to a call of a burglary in progress at a residence in the 4000 block of Chester Street in Flagler Estates; according to an incident report received by Historic City News shortly after 4:00 p.m. yesterday.

Historic City News in St. Augustine received word that Ponte Vedra Beach executive, Ken Underwood, who won a first round challenge in Leon County circuit court last winter between his company, National Safety Commission and a state agency, has lost, in a 2-1 decision, before the 1st District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee.
The one-time St. Johns County Commission Chairman, Thomas G. Manuel, now a convicted felon in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, has been returned to Florida in preparation for his release; scheduled for next month.
