New 450th logo adopted by commission
Historic City News reporters were watching last night as John Regan, St. Augustine’s City Manager, moved a commitment made in the June 13th commission meeting into a reality; receiving approval from the commission to adopt a new iconic logo for the 450th Anniversary events.





Brian Iannucci informed local Historic City News reporters that, at tonight’s meeting of the St. Augustine Tea Party, he will introduce what he is calling “a new and innovative method designed to reach the voters of St. Johns County.”
While more than 13,000 Human Resources professionals from around the world are waking up in the Las Vegas Convention Center this morning, Historic City News has learned that one Santa Barbara company is pitching an idea today which can have a profound effect on us here in St. Johns County.
City Commissioner Errol Jones deduced that the St. Augustine Commission was “wasting time” during the regular meeting tonight discussing options and considering whether or not to accept a $400,000 settlement on the Inter-local agreement with the St. Johns County Recreation Department.
After winning approval from the Historic Architectural Review Board on June 16th, at the regular meeting of the St. Augustine City Commission tonight, unanimous approval was granted to erect a life-size statue of General Jorge (Georges) Biassou.
