Defendant captured after wild goose chase
On Thursday, December 4, 2025, the St Johns County Sheriffs Office confirmed to Historic City News that the “heavy law enforcement presence” on I-95 near Mile Marker 323 was the result of an attempted traffic stop gone bad that spiraled into a full-on manhunt spreading east across International Golf Parkway to US-1 near Abbotts Way.







President Roy A. Alaimo announced to Historic City News that St. Johns County Young Republicans are holding a Barbecue and Pool Party for their members who would like to meet other Young Republicans in the area.

Sergeant Charles E. Mulligan just reported to Historic City News that personnel are removing equipment and barriers in the area of US-1 North, between International Golf Parkway and CR-210 West and tells us, “We estimate the road will be available for traffic flow around 8:00 a.m. this morning.”
