Yard worker arrested for burglary and theft

Historic City News was notified that a 35 year-old St. Johns County man was arrested on burglary and other charges shortly before 5:00 p.m. Tuesday after deputies responded to a burglar alarm call at a residence on Moses Creek Boulevard discovered the man inside.

Sheriffs Office seeks re-accreditation status

Sheriffs Office seeks re-accreditation status

Sheriff David Shoar announced to Historic City News today that a team of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), will be at the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Saturday April 9th, to examine all aspects of the agency’s policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services.
