Zampatti investigators still looking for victims
Deputies with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol tell local reporters with Historic City News that they are continuing to investigate circumstances in connection with a driving rampage in Ponte Vedra Beach this past Friday morning.




Public Information Officer Debra Johnson reported to local St. Johns County news reporters that deputies in Flagler County are investigating a Palm Coast convenience store robbery that occurred early this morning.
Historic City News reporters listened to complaints from several Water Street residents during last night’s regular meeting of the City Commission about the impact of daily cannon firings from the Fountain of Youth Park.
Bill Harriss, who is retiring after twelve years as City Manager, told reporters from Historic City News that his is pleased with the city commission’s decision to promote Chief Operations Officer, John Regan as his successor when he retires this summer.

On a motion made by Commissioner Nancy Sikes-Kline and approved by unanimous vote, Historic City News reporters watched as the City Commission accepted the resignation of 25-year employee and 12-year City Manager Bill Harriss, and, in the same moment decided to begin contract negotiation to replace him with the city’s current Chief Operations Officer, John Regan.
Stellers Gallery of Ponte Vedra informed Historic City News that they will exhibit the work of nationally-recognized oil painters Henry Von Genk, III and Peter Pettegrew as part of a collection entitled Masters of the Southern Landscape.
Sandra Rentfrow, Jacksonville Regional Program Administrator of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, reported to local news reporters at Historic City News that thirty-one unlicensed contractors were arrested today.
