Sgt. Chuck Mulligan reported to Historic City News this morning that deputies with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit arrested 22 people over the last two weeks of December during a special operation targeting those individuals who continue to drive with a revoked license.
Historic City News was on hand when St. Johns County Commissioner Phil Mays was sworn into office at today’s regular meeting of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners.

Historic City News has been informed that the “Dinner and a Movie” series to benefit the St. Johns Cultural Council will continue Monday night, January 26th at 6:00 p.m. at Gypsy Cab Comedy Club, 828 Anastasia Blvd., on Anastasia Island.
Kevin Kelshaw has reported to Historic City News that a 17-year old Ponte Vedra Beach male has been arrested on charges of robbery with a firearm and aggravated battery on yesterday evening.
Governor Crist’s office has outlined for Historic City News the economic stimulus plan targeting Florida’s small businesses that may benefit local companies amidst the economic downturn affecting Florida and the nation.
