Republican Party urges NO vote on Charter

In an announcement received by Historic City News this morning, the St. Johns County Republican Party’s Executive Committee (REC) informed us that they met recently to take positions in the November 4th General Election.

Early voting draws to a close

Today is the final day for early voting in St. Johns County. Friday was another record day reported by Jenny M. O’Dell, Director of Public Information & Voter Education for the St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, with 5,693 early voting ballots cast.

Deputies arrest construction theft suspects

Two Duval County men were arrested Thursday morning on charges of trespassing on a construction site and petit theft according to SJSO Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw in a report provided to Historic City News.

According to a media release received by Historic City News this morning, a 38-year old Duval County man was arrested on charges of burglary to a dwelling and petit theft yesterday morning.
