As participants in the “Sea-to-Sea” Expedition Race, the promoter tells Historic City News reporters that the intense three-day adventure-racing event involves sufficient risk to require execution of an injury waiver before the athletes can compete.

St Johns County beach toll booths resume collection March 1

Beginning Monday morning, March 1st, Historic City News readers will resume stopping for toll booths on all St Johns County beach access ramps between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The cost for daily passes is $10 for County residents and non-residents, and $5 for disabled and active military beach visitors.

Patients receiving either COVID-19 shot locally must provide proof of residency

Historic City News received a Public Health Advisory issued by the State of Florida Department of Health requiring vaccine recipients provide proof of residency (full or part-time in the State of Florida) or proof they are present in Florida for the purpose of providing health care services involving direct contact with patients.
