San Sebastian River suffers raw sewerage spill
A 60,750 gallon sewer spill was reported to Historic City News by the City of St Augustine at approximately 8:00 a.m. this morning. City crews arrived to find a power outage at a sanitary sewer lift station located off Masters Drive at the eastern terminus of Helen Street.

VA hospital turns investigation against whistleblower
Bill Lazar announced to local Historic City News reporters in St Augustine, that 73-year-old resident, Dave Roberson, was assisted with improvements to his Avenue D home provided by the St. Johns Housing Partnership and the Bonner Scholar group of Lindsey Wilson College.
Raphael Cosme reported to Historic City News that a priceless painting of Our Lady of La Leche, that is of great historic and religious significance, was rediscovered by him and his wife, Perla, on December 6, 2014, at the Chapel of Jesus Nazareno in Campeche, Mexico.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
Vicky Oakes, St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, informed local Historic City News reporters today that over 15,000 absentee ballots have been mailed for the upcoming April 7th Special General Election; called to fill the vacancies in Florida Senate District 6 and Florida House District 17 and District 24.
