At this morning’s regular meeting of the St Johns County Commission, a proposal to redevelop the St Augustine Outlet Mall into a maximum of 99,500 square feet of retail space received unanimous support.
Leslie H. Smith, spokesman for the Department of Lawyer Regulation of The Florida Bar informed local Historic City News reporters that in recent court orders the Florida Supreme Court disciplined 15 attorneys, including one in Holly Hill; disbarring two, suspending eight, reprimanding one, and revoking the licenses of four. Two attorneys were placed on probation and one attorney has been ordered to pay restitution.
Many St Johns County short-term rental operators are excited to see that guests are eager to head back to the stands and seats again as iconic competitions, like the Florida-Georgia game, and other big events like major music festivals are making a comeback.
Carolyn Karger reported to Historic City News this week that River House Events Sales and Marketing Manager Constance Wiecking has retired from the position she has held since River House was first constructed.

Elite Airways introduced low-fare, nonstop jet service between St Augustine and New York City through Newark, New Jersey. Fares will start at $129 each way.
The US central bank has been thinking about a digital dollar for over a year. The Fed is carefully evaluating whether it will issue a Central Bank Digital Currency. If it does, it will also need to define what form the digital currency takes.
