In accordance with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s new Public Notice of Pollution Rule (62ER16-1), the City of St. Augustine is providing notice to Historic City News and its readers of an estimated 9,000 gallon sanitary sewer overflow.
Over the past week Historic City News received three reports of fatal traffic crashes in St Johns County. All crashes were investigated by Troop G of the Florida Highway Patrol in St Augustine.
The St Johns County Sheriff’s Office reported to Historic City News that two men and a woman are being sought in connection with the use of a stolen credit card at stores in the St Augustine Outlet Mall.
At approximately 2:42 p.m. today, Jim Troiano reported to Historic City News that a Flagler resident spotted an unknown adult man dressed as a clown and trespassing in their back yard close to their home at 20 Woodlyn Lane in Palm Coast.
The City of St. Augustine Public Works Department has reported to Historic City News that they will start work on a major utility infrastructure upgrade on Monday, October 3 along Avenida Menendez.
In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, Historic City News was informed of the death of the teenaged passenger in a single-car crash on SR-16, west of Masters Drive.
St Augustine police reported to Historic City News today that, at about 9:12 p.m. last night, Officer Frankie Shipp and Officer Michael Linsky were called to the Tiger Eleven convenience store on San Marco Avenue where a man had been attacked.
