The Florida Highway Patrol reported the arrest of 24-year-old Iesheia Antonia Logan, who resides at 403 Gunby Circle in Saint Augustine, in connection with a traffic homicide that occurred September 26, 2018. Investigators said that Logan was “under the influence of alcoholic beverages” — testing 0.202 g/100 mL of blood.
This morning, State Attorney R.J. Larizza reported to Historic City News that Kim Michelle Johnston was sentenced to fifteen years in a state prison facility for driving under the influence causing death and five years for driving under the influence causing serious bodily injury — both the maximum penalties under the law. These sentences will run concurrently.

Friday morning, Historic City News local reporters were informed that a St Johns County jury convicted Brad Timothy Germain of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer. Germain is a seven-time convicted felon. He has a history of committing aggravated assault as well as aggravated battery against law enforcement officers.
