Maltz rules Haigler to serve an eight-year prison sentence

Leaving the scene of an automobile collision where the crash led to the death of one or more persons is a first-degree felony in Florida; and, yesterday, St Johns County resident Henry Haigler was sentenced to serve eight-years in a state prison facility for the commission of that crime.

The Florida Department of Health announced to Historic City News on Tuesday that eight new positive cases of the novel coronavirus disease have been confirmed in the state.  This new information increases the number of known in-state cases to 21. The notice of the coronavirus spike came late yesterday afternoon.
