Fine art and graphic design students will have a chance to show visitors their artistic progress at the Florida School of the Arts “Work in Progress” exhibition, according to an announcement received by Historic City News today.

On Tuesday, December 1st, Historic City News has learned that the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will hear a presentation on the 2010 U.S. Census as part of their regular meeting.

Historic City News has been informed that St. Augustine’s British heritage will be celebrated in grand style on December 4th and 5th when British Night Watch and Grande Illumination return to the Oldest City.

As Thanksgiving approaches this week, the St. Johns County Public Library System is grateful for its loyal patrons and will be thanking them on Patron Appreciation Day tomorrow, November 24.

City clean-up crews were out in full force, collecting the trash, sweeping the streets and restoring order after the throngs of Saturday night’s revelers returned to there homes — although some in attendance were already home.
