Indivisible St Johns releases Florida Report Card 2019

As if the St Johns County Sheriff hadn’t learned his lesson about the wisdom of issuing a “report card” to elected county commissioners, based on whether they agree or disagree with his version of what’s best for county residents, the resistance group Indivisible St Johns, has followed in his steps, issuing their own “report card” ranking of our Florida Legislators for the 2019 session.

According to a report from Brandie Hooper Alred, Historic City News learned that 45-seconds is all it takes to lose it all.

But due to an unknown good samaritan at the scene and nice work yesterday by members of the St Augustine Fire Department, St Johns County Fire Rescue, St Augustine Police Department, Florida Fish, and Wildlife Conservation Commission, United States Customs and Border Protection, and St Johns County Sheriff’s Office, Brandie is still alive to tell her story.

Historic City News was informed that the Pilot Club of St. Augustine has named Jo Brown as its new president during an installation ceremony June 19th.

Lynne Stephenson, immediate past district governor for the Florida District of Pilot and a past president of the St. Augustine club, officiated.
